High up on a hill overlooking the Freestone Valley lies the 20-acre Doña Margarita Vineyard, with the Salmon Creek equestrian center below, between the picturesque towns of Occidental and Freestone. The pristine Salmon Creek meanders through the ranch, creating a rural setting perfect for horseback riding.
<br>
The center offers boarding with box stalls, paddocks with shelters, and a beautifully renovated barn. All boarded horses are turned out daily in turn-out paddocks. Boarders can trail ride or train in the round pen, the outdoor arena or the covered arena.
<br>
The spacious wooden barn has two tack rooms and provides boarding for ten horses.
<br>
before a show, riders warm up in the covered arena. We hosted our first show in the fall of 2003.

Boarders can ride through the old-growth forests while enjoying
the breathtaking scenery.

Tina, our barn manager, works with Lightfoot in the round pen.
